Learning and Development
Leap will be delivering bespoke workshops and training to primary school-aged children, teachers and school staff, parents and carers, and young people in the community, as well as training to staff working directly with children and young people.
These sessions, funded by the VRU and delivered within the My Ends Kickback Project, will strengthen relationships between professionals and carers with young people and support young people in building self-confidence to thrive in their communities and lives.
This support is tailored to the young person’s needs, but it typically consists of developing self-leadership skills, recognising conflict triggers, exploring communication, building emotional intelligence and resilience, and increasing self-confidence.
